    Verdict Locking Up after11.2 update

So I was told that the 11.2 update was supposed to cure alot of the Problems with Verdict so I updated, It is the only free update I get with my Verdict purchase which I feel is wrong. I beleive SO should supply free updates until Verdict is a reliable tool. Who wants to pay 800.00 an update for a piece of equiptment that has'nt worked right from the day it was released. Anyhow updated to 11.2 and now it seems that my scanner module seems to lock up after about 10 minets of record time and I have to force boot and loose all my recorded data. Has done this to me all day long consistently. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this? I'm considering trading my verdict for a verus as I am locked in and don't think SO will take back my verdict at this point although I would probably gladly give it back!

Yes, we did update with usb cable. The scanner tells you the firmware doesn't match until you hook it up via usb if that is the case!

I feel your pain....updates should be free untill they actually work to 100% of advertized performance.... Verus has just about the same issues the verdict does...

Thanks gents, guess there would be no reason trade for a verus then, gets frustrating when you spend more time trying to get the equipment to work that you need to use to fix the car, than actually working on the car!

I have got to agree with you jonage, same here. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that SO chose to use atom processors, I've read a lot of negative press about netbooks with atom processors having a lot of the same performance issues.

I agree with you guys between the amount of time spent rebooting troublshooting on the snap-on tech line I'm very dissapointed with my verdict. I thought the slogan was more answers faster but thats far from the case.
