Make sure your date and time is 100% correct. Mine did this and I looked at the clock and it was wrong. Once I opened the clock to adjust time settings the date was way off. Haven't seen the message since.

Hope yours is as simple as this

If you paid 9 grand for a Verdict you should have just spent a few more bucks for a Verus. I would talk to my SO Rep if I were you, as you paid $1200 more than retail for it.

          Problem Also With 12.2

I have had nothing but problems with my verdict. I bought it about a year ago from my dealer. For the first 5 months i couldnt ask for it to run any better. It worked flawlessly! But About 5 months after a purchased it the "Snap on Tech Guy" came out and supposidly downloaded some programs to prevent viruses. A week after he came and did "upgrades" to my system the hard drive crashed. After sending it off for 3 MONTHS! i got it back and it still has not been the same since, i have had problem after problem. Some of my application data does not work, and when i try to use the application options to test certain sensor or systems i just get errors. I consulted my dealer about it and he called snap on help and all they said was it must be a glitch with 12.2... Seriously i pay this much for the Diag Tool and all i get is Glitches!!

There is nothing wrong with the actual tool, the problem is windows operating system. I don't like anything running on windows, this is why I like MT2500 and Solus ultra scanners

IMO the problem is people adding the wrong programs to their tools. These are tools, not toys. Why someone would buy a $9,000 tool and use it to browse porn, play games, or order parts with it is bewildering to me.

I own the VCI and the Verus, I have never used them for anything other than the purposes they are designed for, and I have never had an issue.

The Solus Ultra is a good tool. A co-worker of mine has the platinum or chrome version (whatever they call it). It works great for what it is. The Verdict and Verus are a lot more tool, however, and a Solus just isn't quite enough for more advanced techs. My Verus has really become a go-to tool for me, particularly with my side work.

In. Response to the one that thinks all use these tools as toys mine is stock out of the box and messes up. Try to graph and it locks up. Not enought memory. Ten lbs of sh-- in a two lbs bag.

How long had you owned it before you got another new one?

Amen brother, only i would say 50lbs in a 10lb bag. I would really like to see some people chime in on how they have never had a problem out of their Verus. It's got to be at least 70-80% or SO would stop making them, maybe.

Great, I hope when i get mine back it last until i retire, which isn't to far away.
I called SO today since yesterday they said it hadn't arrived yet. Today i told them yes it did arrive last Friday and signed for by a JJoey. I checked FedEx. She said hold on and then i got transferred 4 times and finally got a nice lady who, guess what? Told me i needed a new main board at the tune of 1900 with tax. How did i know they would tell me that. Then she said it might ship out today since i called so early, she did call me back later and tell me it would ship Monday. She also said it would be just like new because i told her the threaded screw inserts were broken in the case she said they would fix that. Sounds to me like that's SOP for SO when you send in a diagnostic tool to have repaired. I would like a show of hands who has had the same thing happen to them when they sent something in?
