    Verus edge ignition primary

Could someone please tell me if I need a attenuator for measuring primary ignition voltage. Aeswave sells one cable and attenuator all in one. Thank you.

I've seen that video. Some primary voltages can go pretty high. Aeswave makes leads with attenuator. Is this scan tool fuse protected?what is the max voltage?

The DC volts scale goes up to 400v. I've never had anything with primary ignition cause a problem or with any piezo type injectors. However I don't recommend back probing a HID headlight, startup voltages can go up to 800v and higher. It caused my scope to temporarily shut down. Rebooted it and found no permanent damage.
